[Milsurplus] RT-70?GRC Question

Powered one @ Dayton 'cold war net' last year w. 115Vac inverter, 12V gel 
cell & couple of wall warts for relays & fil.s.  Then choke-input
rectified 115vac for HV.  All went in Whole Foods shopping poke as an 
ersatz PRC-16

Most people applauded but few sneered since lotsa improvising.*  U know
the types.  Anyway was 1st RT70 seen running there.

& wish I'd read this sooner, cudda sent couple of 331s.

  hey ran BC-1000 in '07 w. same sorta lash-up.  Bringing '1000 back
  is worst torture known to ham.

  and my bellows front panel flex coupling is toast.  So if you've a
  couple in your desk drawer, imagine my glazed stare.
