I checked my AN/GRC-7 manual (TM 11-284, May 1953) and page 29 verifies the above.  It specifies GE type #331 (1.35v, 60 mA).

Such bulbs are available for $8 each at:

Other manuals on this series of radios cite the bulb as being a Mazda #331.
