Thanks Tom,

I'd appreciate that.  I'll let you know, pronto, if someone has already 
done that.

It has a battery box that contains a home-brew AC supply; 240-volt 
transformer, vintage Euro parts.  I'd like to avoid doing anything 
really stupid, like burning out the sub-mini tubes.
