The early "box-type" control unit, the C-118 or C-118A/ARC-3, seems quite hard to find. It's a pushbutton affair that appears, like the C-30/ARC-5, to have been inspired by that BC-602 abomination that is used with the SCR-522-A. The C-118(*) lacks a volume control, but has audio jacks.

The later AN/ARC-3 "panel-type" control unit, the C-404A/A, is my favorite. It uses a selector switch instead of the complex and heavy pushbutton assembly in the C-118, and it has a volume control. It lacks audio jacks.

Will Donzelli had C-404A/A panels for sale at one time. BTW, where is Will? I've seen no recent posts from him on any of the lists.
