My first time there, saw plenty of good stuff but why do they let so
many JUNK dealers in? I'm talking about clothing, jewelery, computer
crap.....what a mess. The big lower building was 85% unrelated junk,
spent a lot of time just trying to find electronics beyond old broken
Atari games. What a waste of time.
Did see someone outside wheeling away a nice RCA AR-88 on a hand cart,
and witnessed a friend snag a pre-war SP-100LX. Saw that nifty ART-13
box that Breck got, also saw some headsets including one with the big
ear cups I've been wanting, but forgot to go back over.
Picked up a small box full of ceramic, some of those cheap chinese
dental picks for restoration work, and a manual for the AR-88 (wonder
if the guy who bought the receiver needed it?). Swooped in for a look
at the Command set racks hoping they were Navy, but no joy.
Spent the remainder of the day at KB3AHE & wife's AM party, capping it
off with a visit to W3JN for my first look at a TMC GPT-750 (and a lot
of other nice gear). What a transmitter.
Sure was windy!
