[Milsurplus] Xtal question

While searching through my next box of xtals I found these two. Can anyone  
tell me more.
 
xtal 1
 
Round stubby case 1.75 inch dia, 1 inch tall, metal outer case, 2 pin 3/4  in 
spacing, 
on the side is marked:
VALPEY CRYSTAL type XLST freq 80.86khz, made in USA, ????Holliston,  Mass.
On top is the US Navy anchor. 
 
xtal 2
 
round, 1.5 inch dia,  octal base, 6 pins, marked:
BENDIX N.Hollywood, Calif. USA Model 3947
With 3 Channel places on the top of the xtal
 
I have three of these, all with 4495 engraved in one of the spaces.
 
 
I'm guessing xtal 1 is out of a rx, which had 80khz if ?? The 3 position  
Bendix might be out of a tx? 
Anyone have any idea.
