Well, i don't see how the 211 plate current could ever reach
7.5 A, given normal plate voltage. At that current level i suppose,
the internal tube leads and welds are no longer guaranteed. :-)
But what i thought was interesting, humorous actually, was the
3000 kcs upper boundary.
(BTW, i can't think of a replacement tube exactly, for the WW2
date, in a triode.)
This tube has a lot of longevity. I think i saw a transmitter manual
dated '25 or '26 for eqpt that used the tube. Now the audio
cultists are keeping it alive. I can even kinda understand that: the
visual effects are winsome.
BTW, i have 3 NIB 211 but will not ship, will hand off somewhere
along I-5 in Oregon or WA, i need 801s in trade. -Hue Miller
