How about sonobuoy receiver? I used to work for Magnavox back in the late
60's and early 70's in the ASW area. Our only competitor at the time, as far
as I recall was Sanders. The sonobuoy line was always busy. It was a good
business, as the Navy just dropped them and trained with them. There was a
big demand. I have made numerous 2 meter rigs using the transmitter section
from sonobuoys. I still may have some items, like a flux gate compass, but,
I definitely have a receiver intended for the P3C aircraft in mint condition
with the low noise tube preamps. 73 - Mike

spy...).
Preferred types are AN/SSQ-23, SSQ-28, SSQ-38, SSQ-47 etc. etc.
Also sonobuoy loose parts and manuals would be of help.
