Group,
 I have the following:

R-26/ARC-5 contract NXsa 90806, s/n 717CBY with C-131/AR contract
NOa(S) 4982 s/n 4652:CANE

and

R-27/ARC-5 contract NXsa 90806, s/n 1339CBY with C-131/AR contract
NO.AS 4982 s/n 3984CANE

I copied the contract numbers exactly but they show subtle differences
in the use of capitals and lower case and parentheses. Is this some sort
of hidden code?

The R-27 has a sticker "Processed NAS JAX Dec 49" and the C-131
attached to it has a large white circle with a capital E stamped on
it.When I got it it was still sealed in the water barrier bag.

Both have blue tags but the dyno tags are blue and black.

I have not applied power to these ....yet!

Labeling

The packing list (and photograph) of parts and materials supplied with
the modification kit lists a couple of wood blocks, a metal V-block and
the manual but no nameplate.  And the instructions are not specific to
the R-26 but say any ARA and any AN/ARC-5 receiver.  Anyone ever see a
46105 with the spot-tuner installed?
