I have not, but I would observe that the modifiers would give up the 
vastly improved AVC and lock tuned stability (circle S) obtained with 
the R-26 or R-27.  Wouldn't make much sense to do so, at least in my 
simple mind.  Still, stranger things have happened... :-)
