[Milsurplus] TCS cables

Thanks to those who sent messages re the TCS cables. What I didn't realise,  
stupid me, is that the back of the right angle shell comes off. 
 
Anyway, have managed to re do the end of the cable that was exposed,  
unsoldered cut and resoldered ok. The hard bit is getting the collar to fit on  the 
top of the armour bit. Real pain that was, and, as you twist and screw etc  the 
blasted stuff tends to unwind and becomes loose. 
 
Found a solution though, after refitting plug etc I applied quite a bit of  
superglue (unsure of what its called in the US) to the top of the armour. Seems 
 to have locked it up. So, at least its not as bad as it was. 
 
As someone said, the real answer is to get a set of plugs and rewire them  
with modern flexible cable.
