[Milsurplus] Ship Call Signs and TBX/TBW crew

Hi,
Someone asked if ship call signs were ever changed.  CW callsigns were rarely changed.  The only example I know of was NEW JERSEY, which spent the first 30-some years as NEPP and when recommissioned in the 80s was given NJBB.  I think that tactical voice callsigns lasted as long as a task force did, at the least.  

When packed for travel, a TBX is 4 packages.  Radio, battery/accessory box, generator, antenna.  

I thought TBW manual did specify 6-man crew, but I don't have it anymore to check.  They would obviously have to make a couple trips.  Maybe that's why its called semi-portable.
