[Milsurplus] Lube stuff question

Reading Brian's posting concerning the bearings got me to thinking, dangerous as it may be.  I have a small sealed can of lubricant that i picked up several years back called : 3110-00-158-8243, BRG, Ball, Annular, DSA 500-76C-3756.  

Any one know what this was used for.  I've not opened it as yet cause there wasn't any need to.  However, that could change or maybe it needs a new place of residence.  It's in a small tin about 2 inches in diameter and   1 1/4 inches high.  Kinda heavy for it's size  but maybe it's what the universe will be like X number of billions of years from now.  No worry!
