e, i don't get this part

If you MUST have the "correct original", maybe so. But i guessed
you were not that kind of purist. Otherwise, the TCS is one of the
absolute EASIEST sets to supply power to. I don't see what's
difficult about scrounging a chassis and a transformer or two.
That would cost you all of $20 max. When i used a TCS pair as
my Novice rig some decades back, i had an old TV chassis as the
power supply. ( Called a "suicide supply", but would have been
safe enuff for practical purposes except for my external oil-cap
add-on. ) This worked, and the old TV cost zero.
As for the rest: why not adapt an evolutionary perspective? There
never was any Golden Age, no Garden of Eden, anything like that,
to look up to or back to.
That the big dog seizes the meat from the smaller dog and explains
it differently shouldn't surprise or appall you. At least we as a species
are constantly awakening from the dreams of our past, and our
brutalities and errors.
And if we happen to destroy ourselves, our species, totally, so what?
This system delivers to me a roof, warm running water, freedom to find
information, and to choose whom i want to associate with. Not all
Empires are quite so permissive. Are things different there? So why
so dyspeptic, or do i read it wrongly? -Hue
