It's a Hagelin C-36 cipher machine, which was used by the US military
as a field cipher machine under the name M-209. The price is in the 
usual range. I sure wish I had the one my math mentor had. Nice gadget
indeed, though only moderately secure. 

WOuld you believe it is based on hardware from a change-making 
system for use in coin-operated vending machines? True!
