Note that these sets are in a bag, not the later DAV sets that are in a 
wooden case.
There is a scarce attachment to the MAB which, when stacked between the main 
case
the the cover of the set, added a direction-finding capability, thus 
converting it into a "DAV."
I have one of these and understand why they rebuilt the set into a "DAV-1."
The add-on is a real "kludge."  It has no decent weather-proofing and looks 
like it would
be a nightmare of intermittents.
