[Milsurplus] Help Needed to ID WW 2 Era PPI Display

Hi all,

I've been asked to help with removing the CRT from a WW 2 era PPI
display. First off, I'd like to ID the unit, then seek a manual if
available. Right now, I don't have a name plate, but do have a couple of
pics. I can email off list.

Anyway, the display is clearly ground based and uses a magnetic
deflection yoke, driven apparently by a 60 Hz Selsyn about 3 - 4 inches
OD. The tube looks to be about 6" .

The thing is in a rack, painted black, with a slightly sloping desk part
and a vertical part with the display tube.

The display is about 1/3 from left to right and there is a much worn
knob on the right side. There is a row of about 8 control knobs across
the bottom of the vertical panel.

The sloping part of the console has two hand wheels, as might be seen on
a home lathe, one for each hand and a sector control, like from an
overgrown toy train in the middle.

Any help would be appreciated. I think this is Army gear, not Navy.

TIA,
-John
