[Milsurplus] Crystal Unit 703-A

I have a few of these. Nice chunky 1.25" x 1.25" x 0.75", 3-pin unit.
Marked 144.36Mc. Some marked Western Electric. No info available
via Google except for other people looking for information on these
units (other frequencies, though) every few years.

Fundamental resonant frequency measured as 8.396MHz.
Times 18 comes out as 151.128MHz, for an IF of 6.768MHz.

Times 6 is 50.376MHz, close to 6m AM call frequency. :).

Anyone know what these were used in?
