When i was living up there, and in the late 1980s, GTE 
also had some superb auctions of test equipment. Pallet
loads for hardly any money, which is why i own 6 frequency
selective voltmeters, for example. I have bought from Ira
at swapmeets, and i'll testify that he is an excellent 
conversationalist and raconteur. It was he who introduced
me to the wisdom, "Jesus saves, but Moses invests."
