Okay, i'll take Mike's and Michael's word for it.
To me, looks too pro, overdone for a ham job.
Even the 3 fasteners are matched pan heads.
But- i've not seen another one, so very possibly you are
right. BTW, the last 3/8" or so of the stem where the cord
exists thru the coil spring, this is grey painted brass, in
contrast to the stem itself, which of course is black plastic.
