No, Army Air Forces.  USAF didn't exist.  You may be correct about what the 
RCAF called their manuals but the copy I have, like the copy on the AT-1 and 
AT-7, is an AAF Technical Order.  -45- indicating non-US nomenclatured equipment 
(commercial or foreign).
