[Milsurplus] "Rocking Horse" Scanner

[Unserviceable but Repairable]

Think the mortar-locator was AN/TPS-3.  This was a ww2 height-finder that,
per Sig-Corps V3 called "The Outcome," was found effective for pinpointing
mortar launch sites.  Pic there matches somebody's antenna description.

The few remaining were rolled out & employed in Korea.

AN/TPS-3 used 600 mhz pp-parallel Zahl tube.  The VT-158.  Look here
