Ah yes - with the date, i found them all.

Also seen at Rickreall hamfest: AN/PPN-2 looking unissued and
complete. It was apparent the owner was proud of it, so i didn't
even ask if it was for sale or if so how much. I knew that multiple
hundreds of dollars for something that basically did nothing, was
not for me, "value for money".  Even tho i do have a conversion
article on it. You end up with a 220 MHz A2  short range sending-
receiving set, and this option is not attractive either.  -Hue Miller
