Remember, this equipment was abandoned when we bailed out of Vietnam.
My Mother and Step Father gave me some nice photos of radio gear on
display in Ho Chi Min City and it is as you describe. They were on an
Asian Cruise that included Vietnam.Thier comment to me was that the
people of Vietnam were the friendliest to Americans of any of the Asian
countries they visited.
What will we leave behind when the new administration bails out of
Iraq? And no matter who comes out on top, the People want out so it has
to happen.
Thank God my cousin made it through his tour and he worked in the
streets every day, mostly secureing and towing back to base Marine Corp
HumVees!I've got a great shot of Cousin with his holstered .45 at a
gunslingers rake and an arm load of Junk Food and a very disgruntled
Marine alongside and a HumVee on the hook of the biggest tow truck
(read VEHICLE) I have ever seen. Not the most exciting duty but he did
not complain for lack of munchies.
