[Milsurplus] Bathtubs

Thanks to all who responded.

I got a lot of good information from the group.

I'll order a good stock of new 600V film capacitors and since I got a  
few pointers as to how to go about restuffing the bathtubs, I'll do it.
It's not going to be immediate satisfation as to having a working  
radio in an hour of soldering in the new caps although this was my  
first instinct...
It's going to be - as I "guesstimate", a good day's worth of work.
I have a 200 W big soldering iron, but the small blowtorch may be a  
better solution for decanning the tubs. The iron will be OK for  
resealing them.
What's nice is that in the Scott RCH all the tubs are very accessible  
and the screw heads are on the outside surface of the chassis.
Drilling small holes prior to heating up the caps of course makes  
sense for draining the oil.
This will be a good rehearsal for doing the restoration of the  
bathtubs in my ex-RCAF AR88LF which is another project waiting its  
turn...
