[Milsurplus] I-177B tester with mx949 adapter testing tube CK 5702 WA

All -

Testing a CK 2702 WA tube using I-177B with the MX949 adapter -

I have Nolan Lee's XL spread sheet showing the proper jumper 
connections.  I get a short on on SHORTS switch  position 1  on a new tube?!
When I plug in Jumper 5 to K or plug in Jumper 1 to P Disconnecting 
either  one turns off the  SHORTS  lamp.
Can any on confirm or deny the settings below on the MX949?
