I'll vote in favor a creating the "Stinson Scale".....Price be damned as I
have seen stuff go super cheep and then things go through the sky for same
item at hamfests, auctions, etc.
Besides, sounds cool! (that OK Dave?)
I think a panel of maybe 4 of our fine informed, knowledgeable post
subsribers could come up with a rating for about all the stuff we see here
on the boards. Be kinda neet. Not being an avid collector, primarily not
having access to a lot of the things most take for granted out here in the
high plains of Kansas, I think would be interesting just to see what really
does consitute a "scarce" item.
Unfortunatley, I probably tore up more "goodies" back in the '50s and '60s,
as lived near both an Army Fort and an Air Force base that regularly
suplused stuff out, (military gear) than I will ever see again.
