Something that always nagged @ my immagination is where Heath
got the power transformers for their early amp.s

F'rinstance the one in the flyers used 2 1619s as output. 2.5V filament

And there was the ever lovin' A7 that used 12A6s.  12.6v fil.

Was it economical for Heath to wind pwr xrmr.s to use these 'free'
tubes?
