Guys,
It has been a week and over 40 post on this thread. J's original post was
useful as it did inform me of that policy change that I wasn't aware of. I
was hoping everyone would quickly vent and move on.
While eBay's policies are frustrating, I know that we've all had success
using their website for obtaining items for our collections. Those of us
that have been collecting for awhile can remember the difficulty of
obtaining some items before the inception of that auction site. Love it or
hate it, is has been a useful facility.
Michaels suggestion of a want list brings back memories of Dennis Starks
want list publication. We all submitted our want list for postal mailed
floppy disk file circulation and hopefully someone else on the group could
oblige. You are all most welcome to publish your 'want' list on this
reflector. Perhaps someone on this list will start MilsurplusBay and compete
with the big boy.
There have been some post of where to go to channel your energies in
opposition to their policies. I wish you luck in that endeavor as no one
likes a huge monopoly. Please take it off this reflector using those avenues
and get back on track with topics related to this reflector.
