[Milsurplus] eBay does it

Hi Everybody,

This thread is partly on topic so here goes...

I already got frustrated with the Bay. First I stopped listing things
for sale there. Now I have stopped buying things there. I have shifted
my focus to craigslist, local garage sales and flea markets, and of
course, mail lists like this one. The market exposure isn't as good as
the Bay. Oh well. There are fewer hassles and fewer scammers. I wish I
could say NO scammers. I have even offered some stuff for free but when
I ask the recipient to make arrangements to pay for shipping it to
them...nothing happens. End of story. Kinda disappointing. I thought
items like power supply iron were hard to get. But free for shipping
costs seems too expensive? We all know how much USPS Flat Rate boxes
cost...just not that much.

But I will keep looking on the mail lists and posting some things on the
lists, too. I'm moving and I'd rather sell (cheaply) to somebody who can
use the stuff than to send it along to the landfill.

milsurplus connection... some of the things I have bid on and some of
the things I will be offering are military surplus.

73,

Bill KU8H
