Glen,
Beat me to it. Yes, where daughter lives, toll booths take debit/credit
cards, vending machines (college town) accept them and they have -cash
cards- sold at the University. Turnpike uses a "pass card" magnetic
hanging from rearview mirror and you just drive right on through. Even
Wendy's, McDonalds, and a plethora of eating places have card terminals
where she lives.
I know it is a pain when they accompany us on flea market treks and farmers
markets, Dad has to fork over the CASH as they
don't carry any, hi. She said "cuts down on junk we buy".
Not sure this is all good. All this technology, somebody has to pay for it.
(seems to be me!)
