Come on guys, next thing you know we'll be talking about that black umpty-puckity stuff that oozes from overheating transformers........................
Who really gives a flying leap at a rolling donut, about whether someone did or didn't full fill someone Else's expectations in describing or not describing an item from a certain auction list, that we all know about, and most probably secretly survey, from time to time, in hopes of finding that one last item of unobtainium for our life long projects.
The main point is there will ALWAYS be someone who will object to something that doesn't please them in order to assert their standards and values upon others. And again I refer you to the errant pastry comment above.
I looked at the item that started all this and, I thought that it was quite nice. In fact it was looking pretty good for being 64 years old. I hope I look that good when I hit 64. But would I pay that price? Not unless I had a B-17 in flying condition and the rest on my ARC-5 gear was in that good of condition. I would have to have my modulator to be just as pristine.
So thank you for posting that item so I could have a look at a nicely preserved piece of history that I couldn't pay that much for at this time.
Yours Aye,
RICH WA6KNW
