[Milsurplus] Buddy, can you spare a dynamotor?

DY-34/ARR-15 dynamotors are not easily found. The only reason it would be
missing from an R-105/ARR-15 is because some ham trashed it. Hams also
seemed to like to trash the X-member that was placed across the upper side
of the rear three-quarters of the chassis.

I used a R-105/ARR-15 that I got from NM MARS in 1968 for many years as my
main receiver. I still have it, plus an R-105A/ARR-15 with mount and control
box. It can easily be set for 1 kHz accuracy, and it does a pretty good job
on SSB. On the down side, the mode (A1 or A3) can only be changed from the
local front panel...not from the control box. It's part of the USN AN/ARC-25
(AN/ART-13 and AN/ARR-15) set. The mount and control box are *extremely*
difficult to obtain.

It lacks the LF/MF coverage and the muting capability that was built in to the
USAAF BC-348 (AN/ARR-11), so I still prefer that over the R-105.
