Brian,

The T-30 is a 2-button carbon microphone.  If yours measures 70K it's bad.

As an aside, even when good, the T-30 isn't something you would ever want to 
use.  As some tanker collector buddies who didn't believe me found out when 
they tried some.  The T-45 lip mic, which replaced the T-30 mid-war, works 
infinitely better.

But in any case, to use a T-30 or T-45, you need either Cord (includes a PTT 
switch) CD-318 or Chest Set TD-4.
