[Milsurplus] T1154 bits

Many thanks to those who replied re my T1154 bits request. I now have the  
R's needed and a supplier for the knobs etc. 
 
Having cut away all the wires not used, as the previous owner had removed  
the relay and LW bits, I needed to add a couple of wires, to ground the neg line 
 during tx etc, and reconnect the modulator which had been messed with. 
 
Anyway, with just the one pa tube the tx gives 7w o/p on cw with 450v,  
putting 800v on it gives 25w o/p on cw with what is the best note I have  ever 
heard from a 54. No chirp and negligible drift. 
 
As all the LW pa coils etc have been removed I'm tempted to build a psu  into 
that space. All the original plugs are on the front though so its a bit of  a 
dilemma, mod it further or use it with an external psu using its original  
plugs.
 
Its always the way when a set, though modified, has enough originality to  
make it worth keeping, hi. 
 
Still, another good result.
