[Milsurplus] USS Missouri Photo - Equipment ID?

Very interesting. I wonder how the group managed to obtain all of the
equipment needed to refill those racks. But I see something else to
ask about: The Gibson Girl looks like it's sitting in front of its
waterproof packaging and like it also has its wide canvas straps. I
just bought a Gibson Girl with the straps but have not been able to
find a reference to how the straps were to be used. Does anybody have
that information or a reference to a site with diagrams/pictures?
