[Milsurplus] ART-13 Dyno problems

Bob,

If you have already run reamers into the socket contacts you've probably 
ruined them, at least if you removed any metal at all.  In this case, your only 
solution is a new RFK-10-31SL (expensive, as you know) or new contacts.  I may 
have contacts, depending upon the insert color.  Contact (pun intended) me off 
list.

If you haven't actually run a reamer into the contacts yet, first check the 
solder joints.  If it were me I'd pull back the sleeving and re-heat all of the 
solder joints with just enough fresh solder to get quick heat transfer from 
the soldering iron tip.  If that doesn't fix it, take one new male contact (of 
each of the two sizes), clip one lead of an ohmmeter to it, clip the other 
lead to Pin 1 and plug and unplug repeatedly the pin, watching the meter 
indication.  When Pin 1 becomes reliable, go to Pin 2.  And so on.  If you can't get a 
good connection out of all 10, you may as well replace all of them.  

To answer your other question, I've never seen any bore brushes smaller than 
.177 caliber.
