In fact, I wish most German eBay sellers accepted PayPal.
I buy stuff periodically on the German eBay and it's PITA to pay them.
They want direct electronic transfer to their bank account.
The problem is that my bank is not a commercial bank, but a credit
union type bank and they can't transfer money outside the US unless
the payee's bank has a "partner" bank in the US.
I have to PayPal money to a friend in Germany, and he transfers the
money from his bank.
I hate to continue imposing on that person, and I wish payPal was more
widely accepted in Germany.
There is a transaction fee to the bank anyway when transferring money,
so it makes no difference to me.

My opinion, YMMV...
