That thing you've got is army's 1st xtal-controlled radio

Req'd radio op in vehicle & flew in face of army's notion of no-op
push button 2-way radio req'mt.  Like in cop cars.  Set stage for 
incoming BC603/604 w. FM as a side benefit.

Think '245 only used as fodder in radio schools.

Had 1 running w. PE-135 dyno on cw.  u can't expect much more than 6-8w
fm a #10 tube.

W/o schematic refresher course, "interrupter" probably means buzzer 
tone generator for mcw.  Harks back to dark ages.
