Just one more knob, maybe located in the spline run in a handy place
like near the LM or the TX.I can imagine many non standard
installations where the radio man decided on the spot what went here
and what went there and I need this here and I don't need that there
etc.
I've always wondered what gear was aboard the "Black Cats" PBY
Catalinas. These were some of our early "stealth" aircraft in the PTO.

What purpose would it serve with the RU-xx?
