I've got a NOS T-15 (or is it a T-16?) here you can have for the
heterodyne oscillator you'll need.  Just cut the backend off of it and
bolt it on.  I was saving it for a turbo encabulator but changed my
mind and decided to do it the old fashioned way with hand wound
moebius coils instead.

Check the surplus conversion books (available as PDFs on the web) but
the best way is to strip the chassis except the coils & variable caps
then build up a semiconductor SSB exciter instead.  I never did
understand why they put those weird pilot lights inside the set since
they serve no earthly purpose there.
