[Milsurplus] prc-41 assistance request

hi all,
         the collective wisdom here hopefully assist me in getting a 
an/prc-41 going.the only things fully functional are the guard receiver
and the audio output the rest is unknown if it works or not .i've 
checked the AVC test points but its voltage is just above ground,i 
suspect that the avc detector transistor in the 3rd if and squelch might 
be stuffed? are there any suggestions on how i might proceed with the 
repair? i've also fitted a spectrum generator from a AN/ARC-51BX to it 
as the original was gutted.has anybody got the info on what the pinouts 
on a spectrum generator from a arc-51bx is? thanks in advance for any 
assistance that you can provide.
