[Milsurplus] [MRCA] MRCA Military Radio Meet Sept 21 & 22, 2007

Hi Gang,

The MRCA (Military Radio Collector's Association) will hold its 7th 
annual meet on Friday & Saturday September 21 & 22 at the West End
Fairgrounds in Gilbert, Pa. Again we will hold it along with the Red 
Ball Military Vehicle Show & Swapmeet. This is a very large vehicle show 
with an extensive swapmeet area.

We have the same excellent facilities that we have enjoyed during the 
past meets held at the fairgrounds. We will have radio operating 
activities, presentations on military radio related subjects throughout 
the event. Tailgating is also permitted during the event.

Here's the schedule:

Friday, 21 September:
     All day - Setup, Swap meet, radio operation, and informal displays 
           .   and demos.
     13:00 - Field Exercise Briefing
     14:00 - Field Exercise Deployment

Saturday, 22 September:
    05:00 - The Old Military Radio Net, W3PWW – NCS
    08:30 - Squad Radio Exercise (tentative)
    11:00 – Formal Presentations
    12:30 - Show and Tell
    13:30 -HT / Backpack Net on 3885 KHz / 51 MHz
    All day – More radio operation, demos, and displays.
