On Enewetok Island where the H-Bomb was tested
in early 50's, we had a local Armed Forces Radio
station, and they had a HF TTY news feed from AFRS
in Japan. It didn't include ball scores, so we
communicator types would copy Navy TTY stations on
HF, and hang the sheets on a outdoor bulletin board.
Those ball scores included everything, meaning
Gramling State and Slippery Rock.
