[Milsurplus] WWII Radio Chatter??

Group -
There were wire recorders at the beginning of the war.  If  were any 
saved intercepts I am sure most have been destroyed by now.  Like a lot 
of the gun camera footage it went home with the pilots or in a box to 
the archives to be stored in a damp basement and rot.
