yes, a very worthwhile article.
I do wish it had a few photos, especially maybe
of the SCR-238 and SCR-260 setups, altho you
have to really scrounge for any photos. ( I have
never seen the BC-349 - i don't think! )

The article mentions a BC-348 set up in a JU-52.
I would not call that an "act of deference". I would
call it something else.  -Hue Miller
