In fact I always keep my eyes peeled for an old beat up leather vintage WWII briefcase at junk shops. I figure the rest I can make. Maybe an old English biscuit tin would work.

There is a whole reflector dedicated to them ...originals and copies. I have collected many pictures, neat set and it's a Transceiver with a real history behind it. Relatively easy to build, especially if you are not too picky about using the original parts.
