[Milsurplus] AN/GRR-5 mass

Receiver proper doesn't weigh much. It's that redundant-redundant power
supply with all its dense metal. A civy-type AC supply for receiver using 1.5
volts tubes doesn't really weigh anything. 
But, it was kinda neat listening to the thing and hearing and feeling the 
continuous vibrator hum. Reassuring, maybe.
Which reminds me of a time i hefted a German backpack radio Torn FuG
which also has a vibrator driven by a nicad battery. You could definitely
know the radio was working by the buzzing of the entire radio case. At 
least for the 30 seconds the vibrator lasted.  -Hue Miller
