So basically, the folks who were known as RF communications back then
making crystal controlled military grade rigs back then finally got it
right, for roughly the price of the KWM-2 45 years ago.
Huh. Wonder about the versatility and coverage compared to the FRC-93?
We have a Harris FNARS station at the EOC here, it's anything but
portable. Two six foot racks, something is always down for repairs.
Usually a receiver or combiner.
Come to think of it, we have one of those 3200 rigs or something
similar in the southern part of the state. I'll take the FRC-93. :D
HT-4 to BC-610....good point. That was sure a nervy move. How dare
they? An ER article outlining how to modify a piece of military gear?
Didn't Mr Teeters get lambasted for that?
