[Milsurplus] RE: RAS and TDE

 If you can find a TCM xmtr , it mates up perfectly with the RAS as they
are both very close in height and width. The TCM will do about the same
as the TDE , 125w cw and 30w phone. And the TCM will fit on a bench. All
that said , if I wasn't here on the west coast I'd be heading over to
Robs in my truck to get that TDE. Andy , KD6TKX has one here and it
sounds great. I'd love to find one out here but have had no luck.

I saw that and was going to post something similar. I think it started
life as a TBW but was just hacked to death. don't appear to have the 803
output tube or any of the antenna matching network anymore, I think that
is one of the best parts of the TBW family. may try biding for couple
spares for my TBW although now thinking of buying Robs TDE. The TDE
would look a lot better with the old HRO RAS system.
